Bio

David Flores joined the Mizzou Football recruiting department in 2013 and became the Assistant Director of Recruiting in 2014.

The spring before coming to Mizzou, Flores worked with the linebackers at Evangel University. Prior to that, he was the wide receivers coach at Avila University from 2011-12. Avila broke 16 offensive school records during his tenure, including most points in a season, most receptions in a season by a receiver and most passing yards in a game. He developed four All-Heart of America Athletic Conference receivers, including the school’s all-time leader in receptions and first-team All-HAAC honoree Da’Veion Sullivan.

Originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas,¬†Flores played fullback and tight end for Evangel, where he was a four-year letterman (2006-09) and team captain for his final season. He received his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education in 2010 from Evangel and earned a master’s in Education from Avila in 2012.
