Freshman Wide Receiver J’Mon Moore from Houston, Texas begins his college football career wearing number 4 for the Tigers this season. Senior Wide Receiver L’Damian Washington recaps J’Mon’s play and what he looks forward to this season after the freshman’s performance in the fall scrimmages within the past few weeks.

The Mizzou Football team had a particularly distinguished guest at practice today. Governor Jay Nixon stopped by and watched practice before speaking with the team. With the season edging closer and closer, the Tigers are continuing to “prepare for war,” as Junior running back Marcus Murphy said after the team’s scrimmage yesterday. The offense played well, but it was the defense that took the victory and the black jerseys back in the end.
